ⲟⲣⲓⲥⲱⲡⲟⲛ  "οριΣωπον" is clearly a greek word
searching for it  in the greek and coptic dictionaries returned no results
are you sure its spelled correctly? can you show us the word in its context?
otherwise you might want to consider asking in a greek forum

I'll attach the text it's taken from.
I thought it was greek but didn't find it in the greek dictionaries I looked in.

I highlighted the lexeme. It's in the 3rd paragraph.

The nearest thing I could find to ⲟⲣⲓⲥⲱⲡⲟⲛ is ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲱⲡⲟⲛ
ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲱⲡⲟⲛ means face and the text
ⲡⲉϥⲟⲣⲓⲥⲱⲡⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ would mean his face making light (lightening) which make sense
I couldn't find anything else other than this one.

P.S.
I am just wondering if it is possible to get more of this pdfs? are they published anywhere?
Also can you please write us an article about your university in the Articles section ?
Thanks in Advance

That's what I thought. The only explanation I can think of is that it's a variation of the greek ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲱⲡⲟⲛ, but I didn't find any documentation of it.

Our prof. gave us the pdfs. they are home exams. In class we use pages photocopied from somewhere. I'll look for the book's name and let you know. I'll upload the pdfs I have, I think I have 4 pdfs.
where should I upload them too? Would you be interested in some grammar aids I found on the net as well?

I'd be happy to write about the university and the linguistics department.

Providing us with any Coptic text (other than biblical text which is widely available) will be a big favor
you can send them to my email kami@danacbe.com and
if you found a nice book in grammar then of course you are welcome to share it with us
I personally find this book http://kame.danacbe.com/index.php/topic,203.0.html one of the best
but the only problem is that its written in Arabic  Unsure

we will be happy too to hear about your department, I believe that will be helpful for anyone who is searching for place to study Coptic
maybe you can tell us a little bit about the history of the university linguistics department.
when did it start to teach Coptic, what do you study, ..

I know they're not complete. Unfortunately I don't know where the prof. took them from.
I'll ask him.
Thanks again
