I found nice utility for optical recognition of coptic script.
http://www.moheb.de/ocr.html
unfortunately it not works fpr me, nor linux, nor windows (probably because "cop.traineddata" file is missing), but i was inspired by it and iam trying made my own coptic data for tesseract . mainly i need fonts - and i cannot identify this one (atached file). if someone know which font it is, tell me please.

sadly this is not any PC font
this was an old printed book (before inventing computers)
I have tried to make software to recognize this
I though it would be easy, but I have faced so many problems that I finally gave up

See there is two problems,
this book is scanned so sometimes the pages are not placed perfectly on the scanner
the result is, some pages is slightly slide to left or right
that will cause most simple OCR programs to fail!
also in some pages the font is either very pale or very bold
both cases causes problem for the OCR
I am not trying to disappoint you, but I am trying you let you know my experience so that you don't have to pass through the same problems I had

Attached what I have reached so far with the OCR I created
It was created using Qt4
basically you teach the program the value of each letter (shape) and then the program print this value where ever this shape appear again
