The OLPC project (One Laptop Per Child), at http://www.laptop.org/ is a project to provide affordable laptops to children as a learning device.

Egypt is one of the pilot countries to start using the OLPC laptops.

It might be good to make sure that the OLPC Egypt comes with
  • Unicode Coptic font
  • Writing support

The OLPC will be using Linux, so Coptic writing support in Linux is essential.
