I'm not really sure what this book is, but I think it is possibly an Ethiopian Coptic Bible. I was hoping someone could tell me more about it, age or function would be nice. Many of the pages have two vertical lines down the center, horizontal lines between text, and pinholes on the outside edge of the page. A couple of the pages have torn and been sewn back together. Even if it can't be identified, I would like to add it as a resource for others to study as it is very interesting. It surfaced in Northeastern Arkansas. I've downloaded close to 40 high res pics for viewing. If I did anything goofy like took the pictures upside-down let me know and I'll rotate them for easy viewing. Thanks, Joe

PS. The 3rd pic on the 3rd row is wrote on the inside of the wood cover, maybe it is more pertinent for identification than the rest.  Photos may take a while to load as they are 1.3MB each, click twice to zoom in to 100%.

I never figured out why Ethiopian Bibles are sometimes called Coptic bibles
but, this is not coptic language nor coptic script
it totally different language, that I doubt anyone in this forum can understand let alone dating the book
