One more Question:

can you clarify,

ⲛⲥⲉⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ

i know that ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇ= abandon

also what tense is it in, is circumstantial or relative, and you do you think it is non durative?

Thanks a million.

ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁ-ⲛⲥⲉ-ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ ⲛ- ⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ
after-they-(took in custedy) ⲛ- jhon
after jhon was taken in custedy

I am not sure of the names of the tenses
also in your study you can rely on that
http://unbound.biola.edu/
it will let you show bible verse in all languages including coptic
