The thesis is just documenting a pronunciation. It is an observation of how people talk now. No one denies that most churches use Greco-Bohairic pronunciation. This is a different question than the one about the histrocity and authenticity.
To link it to the main discussion, it does not matter if someone writes that this word is from Coptic etymology, or that proverb was originally Coptic, what matters is their methodology and evidence. Otherwise, I cannot take unsubstantiated claims seriously.
