I think the best way would be to adopt a wiki model, as that makes it flexible for people to add and edit pages. the main entry for a page would be the consonantal root (as ray said) then below it list derivatives and similar words, with links to the similar word pages. maybe even synonyms. a free public domain wiki platform that can be used is http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Installation, and setting permissions on it is pretty straightforward (eg. http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:FAQ#How_do_I_administrate.2Fmanage_user_rights.3F)

Wiki page would be extremely great,
but wiki has two problems,
first with wiki you get a lot of flexibility but I won't be able to force standard look for all pages
and second writing in wiki pages is very hard for normal users

but so far, Wiki is the best bet

Thanks,

Please note that in this page
http://danacbe.com/Wiki/index.php?title=Terminology
there is a list of terminology, I am suggesting that we use the same terminology as in crum
Please let me know if you have any different suggestions, or (otherwise) feel free to add more terminologies to the list

The searchable Coptic Dictionary is a great idea
and there is a suggestion that is to add a category field in the database
for example the words "ⲃⲁⲗ" and "ϭⲁⲗⲟϫ" they both get in the category of "parts of human body"
so we can search now to find for example all the animals together , birds, buildings, ... etc

The search upon the category field will make the coptic words easy to memorized than if we study all the words that begin with alpha then beta ... etc
and Thank you very much
