There is two ways to write Coptic in General
First: is to write (English) Letters and use font that show the English letters as Coptic letters [this is the most common method]
(this method is not recommended here)
Second: is to use real Coptic Letters
So how do you write real Coptic letters?
there is many methods to do that
1-
if you have firefox (Internet explorer may not work)
goto
http://danacbe.com/converter/type what you want then click "view"
you can copy the output text and paste is in the forum
this is real coptic letters, you shouldn't specify any kind of font
2-
download the Coptic editor
http://danacbe.com/CopticEditor/ce.htmlrun it, and write whatever you want
after that Copy the text you wrote from the Editor and paste it in the forum
if the text you wrote has specific colors/font size you can let this editor generate the required code for you
3-
Download the font converter
http://danacbe.com/converter/Font_Converter.zipOpen it, specify that you want to convert from CS to Unicode
Write the text you want in the upper text box
click on the convert button, and then copy the text produced by the Lower Text Box
Note that:
in any method of those if you saw that the generated text is "White Squares" or "Question marks" don't worry
just copy and paste it in any forum topic/title and it will appear as coptic text after posting or previewing it
