How to display the examples?

i was thinking one or two examples for each definition.. max.. enough to highlight the difference in meaning... i don't think dialect variation would be really relevant in getting one meaning of one word :-/

problem with dialects is that, not everyone know every dialect
for example sometimes I search for a word in crum and i get an example in Sahidic
In many cases I don't understand the example

so the person who is learning/reading Bohairic will want to see the examples in Bohairic
and so on

My dream is to write all Coptic books in all dialects in a wiki, and the examples becomes just small reference that links to the text
so that, not only you can put as many examples as you want
but also if you want to read the word in its contexts, it will be very helpful to have the full text available

Well, I Can do part of this dream by putting the new testament text in both Bohairic and Sahidic along with their translation so that we can give reference to them in the examples
instead of writing them but that will be another project

another suggestion is to give a number for every meaning of the word
and at the end we place examples section that is divided into subsections, one section for each meaning
in each section you can place as many examples as you want and in different dialects
I will try to make one page to look like this and give you its link
I suggest that every meaning have its independent entry

i guess including both sahidic and bohairic makes sense.. being they're the main dialects (right?)... especially if it's the same sentence as that you give a pretty cool comparison. And if a word exists primarily in another dialect (especially if a different meaning) an example can be included for that?
we could start with that and if need arises/as next step add other examples in other dialects?
translation of all books to all dialects sounds like a big task! may God guide it :)
you can probably find the texts of the new testament online.. so maybe that part is not too difficult to implement after all!

Ah, I didn't see this thread. As the rules on the Wiki said, I created a "word examples" page for each page that I added. I will correct the issue and make sure to put examples under the Meaning heading.

Should I change the Rules section on the Wiki to reflect this decision?
