« on: 06 October , 2012, 04:17:06 PM »
Thanks for the help this one last time.
I am including a parts of Mark's Gospel,  I am also including the regular translation:

8.    ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲀⲈⲒϮⲂⲀⲠⲦⲒⲤⲘⲀ ⲚⲎⲦⲚ ϨⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲞⲞⲨ. ⲚⲦⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲈϤⲚⲀⲂⲀⲠⲦⲒⲌⲈ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲚ ϨⲚ ⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀ ⲈϤⲞⲨⲀⲀⲂ.

10.    ⲚⲦⲈⲨⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲈϤⲚⲎⲨ ⲈϨⲢⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲘⲞⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲘⲠⲎⲨⲈ ⲈⲀⲨⲞⲨⲰⲚ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲠⲈⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀ ⲈϤⲚⲎⲨ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ⲈϪⲰϤ ⲚⲐⲈ ⲚⲞⲨϬⲢⲞⲞⲘⲠⲈ
11.    ⲀⲨⲰ ⲞⲨⲤⲘⲎ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲚ ⲘⲠⲎⲨⲈ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀϢⲎⲢⲈ ⲠⲀⲘⲈⲢⲒⲦ ⲈⲚⲦⲀⲠⲀⲞⲨⲰϢ ϢⲰⲠⲈ ⲚϨⲎⲦⲔ

14.    ⲘⲚⲚⲤⲀⲚⲤⲈⲠⲀⲢⲀⲆⲒⲆⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲰϨⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲀϤⲈⲒ ⲚϬⲒ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲦⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲀⲒⲀ ⲈϤⲔⲎⲢⲨⲤⲤⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲘⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ

8.      I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."
10.    Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "
11.     and a voice came out of the heavens: "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased."
14.     After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.

What would be a very literal translation of the verses?

Best Regards,

Why are you asking all these questions?
From your post it seems that you don't have any clue what is the meaning of the Coptic text you posted (this English text is not its translation not even near)
So please let me know your intentions so that I can know my time is not going in vain
