Coptic language course on Duolingo/منهج للغة القبطية في دوولينجو

Hello.

If you speak Coptic, or know someone who does, and you (or they) would like to help keep the language alive, the Duolingo Incubator could be a great resource! Once on the page I've linked, open the drop-down list and choose "Other", then type "Coptic". The rest is quite obvious. I'm thinking Coptic for Arabic speakers might be better to start with (because I assume there are more people who speak both Coptic and Arabic than Coptic and English). The course can always be translated to English later on by fluent Arabic and English speakers! The course will only be available once the Duolingo team opens it to contributors, so it could be a wait of years. Still, I figure it's better to get this message out now, and it will slowly spread around!  :^^^

إذا كنت تتكلم القبطية أو كنت تعرف شخصا الذي يتكلمها و كنت تريد ان اللغة تبقي واحدة حية (او إدا الشخص الذي تعرفه كان يريد ذلك)، فحاضنة دوولينجو تستطيع أن تكون عدة عظيمة! بعد فتح الصفحة التي وضعت اللينك لها افتح قائمة اللغات واختر اختيار "أخرى" واكتب "القبطية". الذي بقي واضح. يظهر لي أن منهج للغة القبطية لمتكلمون اللغة العربية أفضل اختيار في البداية بسبب كون أشخاص أكثر الذين يتكلمون العربية والقبطية من هؤلاء الذين يتكلمون القبطية والإنجليزية. بعد حلقه ممكن دائما ترجم المنهج إلى اللغة الإنجليزية. ممكن بدء العمل على المنهج فقط بعد فتحه بواسطة فريق دوولينجو، لذلك ممكن ان يكون انتظار مدة سنوات. ومع ذلك، ضنت أنه أفضل أشارك المعلومة الآن وتستطيع الانتشار ببطء!  :^^^

I don't think it did nor it will. Unfortunately, Duolingo seems to have different priorities now. Recently they even closed/archived their forum.

Coptic Advocate 3:
I have to say I loved the way NileLangu approached learning Coptic! The fact that it looks almost exactly like Duolingo makes it even more attractive and like Duolingo it focuses on Coptic in everyday life, which is also an amazing feature!
The only thing is it stopped so early :(
Do we know if there's a future update coming with new levels?
