5th-century monastery unearthed in Wadi al-Natruon – Watani
ⲝⲩⲗⲟⲛ ⲍⲱⲏⲥ ⲓ̅ⲩ̅ ⲭ̅ⲩ̅ ξύλον ζωής Tree of Life, Jesus Christ. This is an inscription on a mural in the newly discovered monastery.  It's interesting to have the inscription of the 'Tree of Life' around the cross possibly linking the wood of the cross to the tree of life, or symbolising Jesus as the tree of life
