When did Coptic language fade out?

These are two excerpts from aldur althamin fi idah aldin
by Severus of Ashmonein
10th century CE

The first passage the author laments the ignorance of the dogma of the trinity. The rationale is:

mixing with foreigners and loss of their original Coptic language.

The second part, states that

Copts had different sayings of orthodox beliefs, and they treat each other as heretics. Do not be astonished the reasons is their ignorance of their language, as Arabic language conquered them, so no one was left that could know what is being read to him in the church in Coptic language. They became listeners who do not understand.

These passages show the early loss of Coptic language within the region/time where Severus lived

My take home notes are
1. Coptic language fades out in the 10th century CE, at least in the areas where Severus lived
2. Coptic language faded out due to contact with other languages
3. The impact was wide, it was more than loss of Coptic language in communication, it was loss of the ability to understand a text that was read out
4. The loss of Coptic language had a clear impact on the understanding of theology and dogma

The statements made by Severus of Ashmonein matches the statement of the Apocalypse of Pseudo Samuel of Kalamoun in duration and intensity
ⲧⲁⲁⲥ ⲛⲧⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲁⲥⲡⲓ ⲛⲣⲉⲙⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϣⲉⲛϯ ⲑⲉⲟⲇⲱⲣⲟⲥ
