it does support unicode it uses newathu.ttf  font  it's a unicode one  but it needs more and more words and needs arabic - coptic  dictionary

I have been studying Coptic for years, and can now read the Coptic Bible fast.
I am Computer-Engineering major at AUC, currently studying Database systmes. I think I can help building the dictionary schema...

ⲏⲉⲗⲗⲟ ⲁⲗⲗ! THERE IS ALREADY A DICTIONARY FROM COPTIC TO ARABIC AND VICE VERSA ON THIS WEBSITE, www.glosbe.com/ar/cop, BUT THERE ARE TWO PROBLEMS THERE, 1: MOST VIEWERS WON'T READ BUT THE 7 LAST LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET AND THE REST ARE SQUARES, 2: NOT MANY WORDS ARE INCLUDED THERE .

It looks good though it's lacking some words. I couldn't find the word ⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ.
I personally think that the future going forward is Wikitionary.

Its free, open and allow contributions same way as Wikipedia. (It's even the same company)

For example if u want to add the word ⲣⲁϣⲓ, u can go to

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ⲣⲁϣⲓ and if the word doesn't already exist you will be asked if u want to create a new page.

Exact details about the rules and standards should be found in their help page. I honestly didn't add words there before. Only made some edits
